Remembering Ozzy Osbourne - 1948 - 2025
“I honestly don’t care what they play at my funeral; they can put on a medley of Justin Bieber, Susan Boyle and We Are the Diddymen if it makes ’em happy – but I do want to make sure it’s a celebration, not a mope-fest,” he said in a fan Q&A back in 2011.
Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath have been a staple in my music DNA for as long as I can remember. My first ever zine was called Black Sunday, a play on the Black Sabbath band name. Having seen Sabbath countless times and watched how they have influenced some of my favourite bands today has been a joy to watch. They are woven into the fabric of heavy metal and will still remain there for many years to come.
Ozzy, you will be missed more than you will ever know. Condolences to his family, his friends and fellow fans.
OZZY FOREVER!
