Founded in 2020 during the global pandemic, Black Flowers Arts Journal is an independent press and online journal dedicated to art, literature, and esotericism. The journal seeks to explore the boundaries between the beautiful and the grotesque, the magical and the mundane, and the body and soul. It is owned by editor Katie Doherty who is currently based in London, UK.
