These fits of the illegible, and their understanding as truth, are the stuff of world building as real as any brick and mortar. our emotions as revelations, our courage to exist outside of language—revolution.
Jillian Adel is a Los Angeles-based multidisciplinary artist and poet who explores the intersection of the mystical, the intimately personal, and the philosophical.
Her work utilizes energetic and emotional landscapes, archetypes, and alchemical processes of death, rebirth, and ritual, in order to observe and discuss the far corners of the human condition. Through configurations of paint, pastel, collage and poetic phrasing, she makes the subconscious conscious and discusses the unseen forces that move us.
