A Diadem of Fire by Trepaneringsritualen

My original introduction to Trepaneringsritualen was in the form of Kainskult (released in 2017). It soon became obvious I had been missing out for quite some time on the work of The spectre of T × R × P - channelled through ᚦᛟᚦ ᚷᛁᚷ, ᚾᛟᚺ ⩝⚭⩝, Ᏸ.Ꟙ.Ꚃ , and ᛏᛇᚱᚫ ᚾ ∴ ᚾ ∴ ᚾ.

With each song and with each album - the intensity remained the same. It was grounded and felt born of the earth. Think dirt under the nails, hair coated in blood and the smell of fire and flora.

Each record represents another candle lit and another candle snuffed through ritual and A Diadem of Fire is no different. However, this EP feels deeper, guttural and more connected with our earthly senses - pushing us towards the world of magick - more than ever before. The music is enough to make your ribs dance, your heart pick up traction and your soul to wake up from its slumber - this is primal. This is a pagan prayer that bypasses any other dogmatic fluff we may see in the world - this feels like the real deal.

Channelled through humans and gods of the land - it is uncompromising, unrelenting and frightening - a primal way we have lost and now have found through the sonic magic of Trepaneringsritualen.
